Hi, I'm Marina.
Marina Havriliak has always had a passion for music and cinema. She first realized it was what she wanted to pursue when she was in middle school after watching Lord of The Rings. At a very young age music transported her to places she had never seen or that didn't exist, and she wants to share that experience with the world.
She received her undergraduate degree at SUNY Purchase College, studying Film, Music and New Media and recently got her master's degree in Media Scoring at Brooklyn College. Combining her love of music and cinema she creates work that comes from the passion that blossomed all those years ago. She specializes in music supervision and editing for film and television.
Some of her work includes music editing on the web series Salty Pirate, feature films Foster Boys, Advanced Chemistry, Madame Web, music supervising several shorts and music licensing on the podcast, This American Life. During her time at Feirstein, Havriliak has honed her skills in sound design, production sound, music production and studio engineering.
Currently, Marina is doing freelance music supervision and music editing as a member of IATSE 700.
